HR61 is a variety from Ethiopia, similar to Geisha.
It was brought by the National Federation of Coffee with the intention of selling more exclusive varieties and seeds, but the project wasn't possible to be held.
Therefore, they gave the seeds to this estate, Hacienda El Roble, and named the seed by its name (H - Hacienda (Estate) R - Roble and 61 the reference number)
When I first tried this coffee, I was stunned by its quality of this coffee. It was velvety smooth, with complex nuts flavors.
As the temperature drops, the complexity keeps on adding while retaining the silky smooth mouthfeel.
