花囍田 is one of the very few farms that reached COE top 10 without using Gesha varietal.
This lot was originally planned to be used for my HKBrC competition with the purpose to promote Taiwan coffee.
Same process as the lot used for their COE competition, it has great raspberry and tropical fruit notes when hot and warm along with great smooth medium light body.
As the temperature cools, I personally found the flavor notes to be too dominated by winey notes. Otherwise, this would be a much higher scoring (and more expensive) lot.
BUT, it is still a great coffee at this price (Actually it's quite a bargain in my opinion)
